National Quaker Week

Quakers

The website was created to generally promote Quakers. It focused on a one week campaign with national ads to raise awareness of Quakers and show that they are relevant in todays society.

Cyonix was contracted by Fused Technologies to provide design and accessibility services. Cyonix was responsible for the design and build of the HTML/CSS templates. The site is easy to navigate and is meets accessibility compliance standards to WCAG - AA Compliance.

Fused Group

Fused Group

The Fused Group comprises of 3 core brands that make up their converged solutions portfolio. The 3 brands include; Fused Technologies, Fused Networks and Fused Webcalls.

Cyonix was contracted by Fused Group to provide lead design and accessibility services. Cyonix was responsible for the design and build of Fused Group, Fused Webcalls and Fused Networks. We also collaborated on the design and build of the Fused Technologies website. The brief stated that all 4 websites must have an ongoing theme but have their own identity.

The National Youth Agency aims to advance youth work to promote young people's personal and social development, and their voice, influence and place in society.

Cyonix was contracted by Fused Technologies to provide design and accessibility services. We were responsible for the front end development and our role was to build a number of standard compliant HTML/CSS templates.

Plaster by Design - Polished Plaster Specialists in Nottingham

Plaster by Design is a Polished Plaster Specialist company that required a Content Managed Web presence to have a competitive edge in Google. The site architecture was developed around the basis of research findings carried out by Webviz, experts in SEO.

The website was built using the Drupal System and has intuitive FAQ, Previous Work and Polished Plaster Finish sections that display the latest additions for ease of use and easy access. Users can browse through a range of colours, with the options to view by page, previous and next or view all colours. Users can browse polished plaster finishes by finish type and view an example associated reference of previous work.

The look and feel of the site is contemporary, simple and elegant to appeal to a high end market and reflect the quality of the work produced by Plaster by Design. The site is easy to navigate and is meets accessibility compliance standards to WCAG - AA Compliance.

The site was delivered in partnership with Kineta Systems and Webviz.

Business Design Centre

Situated in fashionable Islington, the Business Design Centre is London's most stylish venue, playing host to over 80 exhibitions and 250 conferences every year. The Business Design Centre is also the permanent home to over 100 businesses who occupy the offices & showrooms around the perimeter of the centre on 3 floors.

Cyonix was contracted to provide front end design/development services. Our role was to take a number of flat templates and convert them into standard compliant HTML/CSS templates.

Community

Born in 2004, Community is a diverse union that Unites workers across Britain. Community works to improve and protect the pay and working conditions of all members.

Cyonix was contracted by Fused Technologies to provide lead design and web accessibility services. Our role was to design the look and feel of the site and build the standard compliant HTML/CSS templates. The design brief was to ensure the look and feel embraced the brand colours to give it a strong brand identity. The brief also stated the design must be clean and make good use of space to incorporate the high volume of content.

Fused Networks, part of the The Fused Group, is one of the UK's leading ISPs for the Channel and end user businesses. ISP Winner of the Year in 2006 and 2007.

Cyonix was contracted by Fused Technologies to provide lead design and web accessibility services. Our role was to design the look and feel of the site and build the standard compliant HTML/CSS templates. The brief stated the design must have an easy to use layout, reflect the company’s new identity and have a contemporary look and feel. We asked the client to provide user persona information to help us create the structure of the home and inner pages. By doing this, we captured all user requirements and designed the page around these findings.

Fused Webcalls is a leading UK IP telephony and converged solutions provider for the Channel marketplace offering a range of VoIP services for all types of businesses.

Cyonix was contracted by Fused Technologies to provide lead design and web accessibility services. We were responsible for the site design and build of the standard compliant HTML/CSS templates. The look and feel of the site is relevant to the sites purpose and is both clean and modern. We utilised the strong brand colours for the main feature to give it some contrast and brand identity. We asked the client to provide user persona information to help us create the structure of the home and inner pages. By doing this, we captured all user requirements and designed the page around these findings.

Loopart Works - Contemporary Abstract Art for Sale

Loop Artworks is a Nottingham based company run by contemporary artist Dave Andrew, creating abstract art incorporating a love of music and art.

The site includes an art gallery, with accessible pop-up windows. An RSS feed pulls the latest 5 headlines from Loopart Works blogger page.

The Loop Artworks website meets the compliance standards for accessibility (W3C WCAG - AA Compliance) CSS and XHTML 1.0.

Fire Horse Feng Shui - East Midlands Feng Shui Consultancy

Fire Horse Feng Shui

We have recently launched the new improved website for Fire Horse Feng Shui, an East Midlands-based Feng Shui Consultancy. The site was built using the Drupal CMS and covers a wide range of content from services to links and testimonials.

The client required a CMS that had built-in Search Engine Optimisation, was easy to use, adhered to web standards and a new look and feel.

We are very pleased with the website so far as it's already achieving fantastic results in search engine rankings with targeted key phrases

Greenweeks - Celebrating Sustainability in Greater Nottingham

Client: Nottingham City Council

Greenweeks.org is a calendar based website designed to publicise and exibit the Greenweeks programme and its events in Greater Nottingham. Greenweeks is a NCC initiative that aims to to celebrate the achievements of local people who are helping make our bit of the world a cleaner, greener, healthier, safer place. The site meets the compliance standards for accessibility (AA), CSS and XHTML 1.0 and has several intergrated features to aid usability and accessibility.

Cyonix teamed up with Kineta Systems to provide both accessible design and development services. Cyonix provided all XHTML 1.0 and CSS standard compliant templates, graphics and project management.

The package was a collection of graphical templates and bespoke web tools assembled together to make a Branded Calendar Web Application. The website was essentially made up of two parts - the public website pages and the secure administration panel.

The public section allows the user to view and post event information. Users of the site can print event details in a comprehensive printable format, which conveniently fits onto 1 x sheet of A4 paper. The database driven calendar is a site wide feature that is conveniently located at the top of every page.

Administrators of the site are altered about each event entry via the secure administration panel. Each event entry is then validated and made live to the appropriate calendar date or sent back for further input. The administrator can also link the event location to Nottingham City Council's interactive map website.

Filmpur - Gateway website for South Asian Media Producers

Filmpur was designed to draw South Asian Media producers to Leicester through providing a source of information and contacts. The site meets the compliance standards for accessibility (AA), CSS and XHTML 1.0

The design and development process was a collaboration between Glowmedia Ltd, Mune and True Solutions. Cyonix was part of the Glowmedia team whose roles included Project Management and Creative and Accessibility consultancy.

See-Nottingham - A Regional Social Enterprise Business Portal

Client: Nottingham City Council Social Economy Team

See Nottingham was designed to encourage and support regional Social Enterprises, it provides an online rescourse to knowledge based information, promotional services and network facilities.

See-Nottingham was a collaboration between USE (Sharon Lee's previous employer) and Nottingham City Council Social Economy team.

The concept was to create an online community amongst local Social Enterprise businesses allowing them to exchange information and ideas, obtain relevant legal information, download documents and gain contacts.

The website is a bespoke design and consists of four main areas. A static area of Social Economy information, an online business directory, Forums and a Members area where users can manage profiles and download relevant documents. Technologies applied included HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MY-SQL and PHP.

Sharon's roles included project coordinator, head designer, content writer and website administrator. Sharon also played a major part in organising the successful website launch.
